Reiki courses

Reiki is based on the belief that life source energy flows through the human body and through every living thing.  Reiki was founded by Mikao Usui in Japan in the early 1920's. Thanks to the work and dedication of Usui, we now have a beautiful healing system.  The gentleness, simplicity and ease of Reiki has resulted in its huge popularity which has spread throughout the world.  

Reiki courses at all levels are held as 'in person' training, although additional training for Reiki practitioners is available online. 

Reiki level one courses introduce you to the wonderful world of Reiki and are suitable for complete beginners.  You will learn about the history and use of Reiki, how to connect with and use Reiki energy, learn about the principles of Reiki and how to use this for yourself and with others.  You will learn about Reiki meditation, treatment and you will give and receive a treatment as part of the course.

Training is usually given over one and a half days.  

Reiki level two is the practitioner level of Reiki and builds on the skills learned in your initial Reiki training.  It allows you to offer treatment to others on a professional basis, though many people choose to study for their own development.  You will deepen your connection with Reiki and study specific aspects of the Reiki energy for emotional, mental and physical wellbeing.  You will learn how to perform in person and distance healing sessions and how to work professionally as a practitioner, in order to offer your services to others.    

Training is performed over two days.

Reiki level three is the Master / Teacher lever of Reiki.  It is suitable for those who wish to run their own events or teach Reiki to others, or those who would like to advance their Reiki skills for their own development.  You will learn how to create a powerful energy connection, work at an advanced level, attune others to Reiki and to enhance your universal energy connection.

Master level training is performed over three days.

A number of workshops, events and courses are available for those who work with Reiki and wish to refresh their training or expand their knowledge.  You can choose to learn more about meditation or energy work, or learn additional skills that will benefit your clients. While Reiki at all levels is available as in-person training only, additional  training is available as a range of in-person or online sessions.
